Privacy
Policy.
This policy explains what personal data Kledd collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the rights you have under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and Brazil's Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD, Lei nº 13.709/2018). We do not sell your personal data.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Kledd (kledd.co and app.kledd.co) is currently operated by its founder as an individual, from the United Kingdom and Brazil; it is not yet a registered company. The founder is the data controller ("controlador" under the LGPD). When a company is formed, we will update this policy and tell you before anything changes for you.

2. What we collect
- Account: name, email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), language and profile picture.
- Wardrobe and styling: photos of your clothes and their AI classification (category, colour, occasion, tags), outfits, folders, moodboards, planner entries, notes, feedback and style preferences (vibe, occasion, and body measurements if you add them).
- Location: only if you allow it, to fetch the weather for outfit suggestions.
- People you connect with: friends and stylist–client connections, what you share with them, approvals and comments.
- Connected services: if you connect Pinterest, the boards and images you choose to import.
- Shop: see section 4 (Buy taps, wishlist, "I bought it" reports, and for stylists, earnings and payouts).
- Usage: the screens and features you use and the actions you take in the app, with an app-generated install identifier and a session identifier.
- Technical: IP address, device and browser type (user agent), operating system, app version, and error reports, recorded with each request to our servers.
- Notifications: a push-notification token for your device, if you turn notifications on.
Guest use. You can use Kledd without an account. We then create a temporary guest profile on our servers, linked only to your device or browser, to keep the pieces and looks you add. It stays until you create an account (your guest data moves to it), delete it from Me, or 30 days pass without activity, when it is deleted automatically. If you clear your browser's site data or change device before creating an account, that guest data can no longer be reached.

Ele fica até você criar uma conta (os dados passam para ela), apagá-lo em Eu, ou após 30 dias sem atividade, quando é apagado automaticamente.
Uso como invitado. Puedes usar Kledd sin cuenta. Creamos un perfil temporal de invitado en nuestros servidores, vinculado solo a tu dispositivo o navegador, para guardar las prendas y looks que añadas. Se conserva hasta que crees una cuenta (los datos pasan a ella), lo borres desde Yo, o tras 30 días sin actividad, cuando se borra automáticamente.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
Each use relies on a legal basis under the UK/EU GDPR (Article 6) and the LGPD (Article 7):
- Running the service you asked for (your wardrobe, AI outfits, sharing with friends and stylists, PDF reports, the Shop, stylist earnings): performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); LGPD Art. 7, V).
- Location for weather, push notifications, Pinterest import: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in your device settings or in the app (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); LGPD Art. 7, I).
- Security, fraud and abuse prevention (request logs, checks on Buy links and commissions), fixing errors and improving Kledd (usage analytics): our legitimate interests, balanced against yours; you can object (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); LGPD Art. 7, IX).
- Accounting and tax records for commissions and payouts, and answering lawful requests from authorities: legal obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c); LGPD Art. 7, II).
- Emails about your account (sign-in, security, deletion): contract. Product news: only if you opted in, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
We do not use your wardrobe images or personal data to train AI models, and we do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects by automated means only.
4. Shop, partner stores and stylist commissions
The Kledd Shop shows products from partner stores. Buy buttons are affiliate links: if you buy, the store may pay a commission, which is shared with the stylist who created the look or first shared the item. Purchases happen on the store's own website or app, under the store's terms and privacy policy. Kledd never receives your payment details, delivery address or the contents of your order beyond what is listed below.
When you tap Buy, we record: a random click reference, the product and store, the look or outfit it came from, which Kledd account the commission is credited to, your Kledd account (if signed in), the time, your browser or device type, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address. We then send you to the store through an affiliate network. The link carries the click reference and, so the right stylist is paid, the stylist's Kledd account identifier and the look's identifier. It never carries your name, email or IP address. From that moment, the affiliate network and the store receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
Sales reports: the affiliate network later tells us the outcome of a click: order reference, amount, commission, currency, status and dates, and sometimes the country or device type. It does not send us the buyer's name, email or address. We match the report to the click reference to credit the right stylist.
Wishlist and "I bought it": pieces you save (with optional notes, and for stylists the client they are for). If you tell us you bought a piece, the stylist or friend who recommended it is notified with your name and the product.
Stylists: we keep a record of your earnings (sale, commission share, status) and payouts (amount, date, and how and when it was paid). Kledd does not collect bank details in the app; when you request a transfer we contact you to arrange payment, and keep only a short reference of the payment. If you add your own affiliate publisher ID, we store it. Stylists can see their clients' names next to the earnings their looks generated. You are responsible for any tax due on commissions.
5. AI and image processing
Clothing images you upload are sent to Google's Gemini API for classification and, where you use those features, for outfit suggestions and image clean-up. Under our API terms, Google does not use this data to train its models. Background removal is done by our own image service. Product photos from partner stores that you add to your wardrobe may be cleaned up the same way.
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data only as needed to run Kledd:
- Service providers acting on our instructions: database, authentication and file storage (Supabase); application hosting (Railway); web hosting (Vercel); usage analytics database (MongoDB); AI (Google Gemini); app analytics (Google Analytics); email delivery (Resend); push notifications (Expo, Apple and Google).
- Affiliate networks and partner stores, as described in section 4. They act as independent controllers for what they collect on their own sites.
- People you choose: friends and stylists you connect with see what you share with them; a stylist you work with sees the wardrobe and looks you share.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it.
7. International transfers
Kledd's providers process data in the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States and Brazil. When data leaves the UK, the EU or Brazil, we rely on adequacy decisions or on the provider's standard contractual clauses (the EU SCCs, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and the standard clauses recognised by Brazil's ANPD under LGPD Art. 33), together with the provider's security measures.
8. How long we keep it
- Account data (wardrobe, outfits, profile, wishlist, connections): while your account is active, then deleted as described in section 9.
- Guest data: up to 30 days without activity (see above).
- Usage analytics: up to 400 days, then deleted automatically.
- Request logs (IP address, device type): up to 90 days, for security and debugging.
- Shop clicks: up to 12 months, to match late sales and resolve commission questions.
- Sales, commission and payout records: up to 6 years, to meet UK and Brazilian accounting and tax rules. When you delete your account, these records are kept without your name, email or account link.
9. Your rights, and how to use them
Under the UK/EU GDPR you can: access your data and get a copy; correct it; have it deleted; restrict or object to how we use it (including objecting to uses based on legitimate interests); receive it in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time. Under the LGPD (Art. 18) you can also ask us to confirm whether we process your data, to anonymise, block or delete unnecessary or excessive data, to tell you who we shared it with, and to explain the consequences of not giving consent.
- In the app: Profile → Privacy & Security → "Request my data" emails you an export, and "Delete account" deletes your account. Both are confirmed by a one-time email link.
- By email: hello@kledd.co for any other request, including correction, objection, or information about sharing. We answer within one month (UK/EU), and LGPD requests for confirmation or access within 15 days.
After a deletion request, your account and its data (wardrobe items, images, outfits, profile, wishlist) are permanently deleted within 30 days, except the records we must keep by law (section 8), which are kept without anything that identifies you.
You can complain to a data protection authority: the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK (ico.org.uk), the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados in Brazil (gov.br/anpd), or the authority in your EU country. We'd appreciate the chance to help first.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
Kledd stores a few items on your device to make the app work: your sign-in session, preferences, an install identifier and a session identifier for usage analytics, and a short list of products you recently tapped so the app can later ask whether you bought them. On the web, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure visits. Stores and affiliate networks you visit from the Shop set their own cookies on their sites. You can clear this data in your browser or by deleting the app.
11. Security
Your data is stored with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Wardrobe images are in a private bucket protected by row-level security: only your account can open them, through time-limited signed links. Access to production systems is limited to the people who run Kledd.
12. Children
Kledd is not directed at children under 13, and you must be at least 13 to use it. If you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact hello@kledd.co and we will delete it promptly.
13. Changes to this policy
We will tell you about important changes by email or in the app before they take effect. Where a change needs your consent, we will ask for it.
